English for Employment is a course designed for students at IELTS 5.5 - 6.0 or equivalent who need to improve their English to enter the Australian labour market. It is a 10-week intensive language course with a focus on English for employment.

English for Employment is free for eligible candidates.

• Negotiating and problem solving at work

Candidates must:

• be a an Australian or NZ permanent resident or citizen
• have overseas qualifications
• have an IELTS score of at least 5.5 - 6.0 or equivalent

Students can obtain a Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English or Statements of Attainment for modules of the Certificate. This qualification is recognised throughout Australia.

English for Employment is an intensive full-time course which runs for 20 hours per week for 10 weeks.

In addition to attending classes, students are expected to conduct independent study outside of course hours.
