Course demonstration

Writing for Work provides practice in writing notes, messages, memos, emails and letters. There are three units of work. Each one includes explanations, language exercises and research tasks. In these tasks you are invited to collect and analyse workplace texts.

Learning outcomes

In Writing for Work, you learn to write:

  • short informal notes and messages and fax cover sheets
  • about future plans or events
  • a personal request or submission
  • an enquiry, request and complaint and appropriate replies to each

Eligibility

The Writing for Work course is suitable for post-intermediate to advanced learners.

This is an online course, allowing you the freedom to study when and where you want.
