Course fees and refunds
Course fees are payable in advance. If you are unable to start your course
you may receive a refund.
- If you cancel three weeks or more before the course starts, we refund
100% of your fees. You must pay an administrative fee of $30.
- If you cancel less than three weeks before the course starts, we refund
90% of your fees. You must pay an administrative fee of $30.
- If you cancel after the course has started we do not refund your fees.
Complaints
If you have a problem with NSW AMES or want to make a complaint you can
report it to your teacher or the Coordinator at your teaching centre.
We will deal with your concerns promptly and confidentially. The NSW Department
of Education & Training Complaints Handling Policy Guidelines are available online.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL from previous training, work or life experience is available to all
students. When you begin your studies we give you information about how to
apply for RPL. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), NSW AMES recognises
all equivalent qualifications issued by RTOs under the Australian Quality
Training Framework.
Assessment
When you begin your studies with NSW AMES, we give you information about
assessment and how we record and report your results. If you have any questions
or concerns about assessment or want to make an appeal, first talk to your
teacher. At the end of your course we give you a written record to show that
you have successfully completed a module, course or qualification.
