Certificates I, II, III and IV in Spoken and Written English

The Certificates I, II, III and IV in Spoken and Written English (CSWE) provide a curriculum framework to develop the spoken and written English language, literacy and numeracy skills of beginner, post-beginner, intermediate and advanced learners. It is the most widely taught national language and literacy curriculum framework in Australia and may be delivered face to face, by distance or online.

CSWE Licences for International Clients

International clients can licence the CSWE to obtain:

• the curriculum documents which include the theoretical background to the curriculum framework, an introduction to syllabus design, the modules and learning outcomes, as well as assessment strategies
• assessment grids
• sample assessment tasks
• CSWE student learning resources
• permission to deliver the CSWE in select location/s
• CSWE teacher induction training (additional/optional)
