Skillmax Program

Skillmax assists participants to develop language skills and awareness of Australian workplace culture to enhance their career opportunities. It is funded by the NSW Government and is free for eligible participants.

Skillmax has two streams: Jobseekers and Public Sector. The course content and delivery mode of each stream are different and are customised to the skill development needs of each target group. 

• Skillmax – Jobseekers
  This stream is delivered part-time over 5 weeks in various locations across Sydney. It aims to assist participants to improve their career opportunities, by preparing résumés, cover letters and developing interview techniques.
• Public Sector Online – Skillmax
  This stream is for NSW Government employees. Six online courses are available which focus on written and spoken workplace communication skills.
