Skillmax Program
Organisations and individuals may be eligible for government
funding to improve the English language, literacy and numeracy skills of the
Australian workforce. NSW AMES can make an initial assessment of your eligibility
for funding, assist with your funding application and the design and delivery
of the required training.
Skillmax Program
The NSW State Government provides funding under the Skillmax
Program to eligible migrants of non-English speaking backgrounds who have
overseas qualifications, training, skills or experience.
Public sector employees who are not currently employed in the
area of their expertise will complete modules from the Certificate IV
in Spoken and Written English – Employment, following a Workplace
Communications focus. Unemployed professionals will complete modules
from the Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English – Employment, following
a Jobseeking focus.
